Bangmata Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib Hall of Khulna University visited the sunflower field in the fallow land, Khulna District Deputy Director Agronomist Kazi Jahangir Hossain Sir, Directorate of Agricultural Extension, Khamarbari, Khulna. Agronomist Mr. Pankaj Kanti Majumder Sir (Retired) was also present. Agriculturalist Mr. Farhadiba Shams, Head of our Metropolitan Agriculture Office, Labanchara, Khulna was also present. The professors of the university were also present.


Project inspection
Khulna Department of Agriculture Extension consists of eight (nine) upazilas (two) metropolitan agriculture offices. Upazilas are Dumuria, Phultala, Dighalia, Terakhada, Rupsa, Batiaghata, Dakop, Pikegacha and Quora. In order to strengthen the departmental activities of the Khulna City Corporation, the Department of Agriculture has continued to divide the Metropolitan Agricultural Office, Daulatpur and Metropolitan Agriculture Office, Lavanchara into two parts.The Upazila Agriculture Officer / Additional Agricultural Officer / Agricultural Extension Officer / Assistant Agricultural Extension Officer and Deputy Assistant Plant Protection Officer regularly inspect the activities of the Deputy Assistant Agricultural Officer at the Union level. Metropolitan Agriculture Officer / Agricultural Extension Officer and Deputy Assistant Plant Conservation Officer working in the Metropolitan Area Khulna City Corporation PP / Horticulture) and the Agricultural Engineer monitors the activities of the officers working in the upazila office and at the union level. Provides service advice to the officers / sub-assistant agricultural officers and farmers / farmers present during the monitoring / inspection. The Department of Agriculture Extension has been playing an important role for ages in agricultural production, marketing and export. The Department of Agriculture is an old traditional government institution.He is busy with the development and service of the peasantry. The Department of Agriculture Extension is working relentlessly to reach the farmer at the doorstep of modern and sophisticated technology in agricultural production. The Department of Agriculture Extension has been playing a leading role in producing more and more quality crops. As a result Because of this, the country has been exporting 5 ^ qs of food and surplus food to foreign countries today. Officials and employees working in the Directorate of Agricultural Extension, like the Octavian soldier, have been working for the unions of Khulna district, 12 municipalities and 12 metropolitan areas.
